CYCLONE WATCH & CYCLONE WARNING

Once the BOM declares a Cyclone “WATCH” in the Darwin Area, SHADETECH will cease to remove any more Shade Sails. Due to our OH&S and the welfare of our Team and their families Shade Sail removals will not be scheduled.

It has always been our advice and messaging that Shade Sail removal are the responsibility of our customers. However, we will always do our best to offer the service outside cyclone watch and warnings.

During a Cyclone Warning and Watch our phones will be manned to assist our valued customers.

It is also our view that our customers be alert to the cyclone season and plan for any cyclone “watch and warnings”.

However, note the following:

• Limited staff will be able to take calls
• We will endeavour to answer all calls
• Emails may not be checked until the NTG or relevant authorities have declared it safe to return to work.
• Any request for repairs or replacement are to be directed to [email protected]
• There will be no answering or voicemail service.
• All other enquiries during this period should be directed to [email protected] and these will be actioned as soon as practically possible.

ShadeTech will remove Shade Sails on the following basis during the cyclone season

• They will be removed by order of date of quote acceptance, and generally that means once deposit is paid, or purchase order provided.
